Eat Right Kanchipuram – How I Managed a Local Government Campaign in Pure Tamil

Eat Right Kanchipuram” was a government initiative aimed at creating awareness about healthy eating habits among the local population.

This was not your typical social media campaign — it had to be done entirely in Tamil, keeping local culture, language, and mindset at the center of everything.

I was responsible for handling the complete social media and paid advertising strategy, and also played a key role in creative planning, content direction, and local promotion execution.

  • I managed all Instagram and Facebook activities in Tamil

  • Worked closely with graphic designers to plan post ideas, carousels, posters, and reels

  • Made sure every piece of content felt authentic and rooted in Kanchipuram’s lifestyle

🎬 Local Influencer & Serial Artists Integration

  • Used well-known Tamil serial artists and local personalities in our campaign videos

  • These influencers helped build trust and relatability with the public

  • We promoted upcoming local health events, stalls, and competitions using them

📢 Paid Ads Execution

  • Ran Meta Ads fully in Tamil, targeting:

    • Local town and village audiences

    • Parents, school kids, and homemakers

  • Used video view campaigns and event response ads to maximize local turnout
